Instead of eating her dinner, Ella was bouncin' away to the music of Nils Petter Molvaer. Of course, I had to capture this on sensor. BTW, her hair looks like this most of the time ;)
EDIT: This picture was one of the choices of the B&W Photo challenge 'Woman portrait'. This makes Ella even more bouncy. Thank you.
Ok, Light Extracts is indeed interesting (by "interesting", Roberto usually means weird, wacko and, on rare occasions, bogus). Still, bouncing to that music sounds to me like something akin to bouncing to Soil Festivities or - dare I say? - Autechre. :-B
haha! what a lot of fun! miles @ 2006-March-20 05:46
another nice shot! watching her movement was enough to make me happy. jj @ 2006-March-20 13:30
This is a great series -- one I would frame and display proudly. Ryan @ 2006-March-20 17:01
That's great to put a face on the person who is leaving comments on my blog ;) (perhaps that it is Sebastian who is using the 'Ella' pseudo ;) ). I saw your link of 'Nils Petter Molvaer', i gonna search more on this artist cause it seems to be exactly the music style that i love. Julien @ 2006-March-21 04:39
Thank you guys! Ella is quite pleased that her bouncing is so universally appealing ;)
@ Roberto: Light Extracts is actually an Eivind Aarset album, what Ella is bouncin' to in this pic is Molvaer's Khmer. Anyway, Eivind Aarset is one of our major discoveries of last year, his 3 records are great.
@ Julien: Rest assured that it's indeed Ella commenting on your blog. I'm a rather dry commenter while she's quite elloquent ;) sknop @ 2006-March-21 07:29
Ha ha such fun! Great mood being captured here. I have never tried this sort of work. well done. Jeannie @ 2006-March-21 23:24
You can see there's music in the air :) Theo @ 2006-March-23 18:12
Very fun photo! The tone is great too. I really like this one.
